Vulnerable Person Registry

The Vulnerable Person Registry is a registry that assists police officers when they respond to a situation involving a vulnerable person.

  • A vulnerable person is defined as a person that due to medical, cognitive, mental and/or physical health conditions that causes a behaviour that can be dangerous to that person.
    • For example, a person with Autism or Acquired Brain Injury may often wander; have difficulty communicating, aggression, oversensitivity to sensory stimulus, etc.
    • You can find the appropriate Vulnerable Person Registry on your local police website and register online.
